Hilary Swank stars as the free-spirited American pilot Amelia Earhart whose early aviation triumphs and meteoric rise to fame were accompanied by a tempestuous relationship with publisher George Putnam (Richard Gere) and a passionate affair with Gene Vidal (Ewan McGregor). Earhart became the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic and the first pilot - male or female - to fly unaccompanied across the Pacific. Her life was cut short in 1937 when she mysteriously disappeared while attempting to circumnavigate the globe.Running Time: 111mins
