British-made thriller starring Gemma Arterton. Hardened criminal Vic (Eddie Marsan) and his accomplice Danny (Martin Compston) kidnap Alice Creed (Gemma Arterton) from a suburban street. Gagging her and tying her to a bed in a purposely soundproofed flat, the two men plan to negotiate a ransom from Alice’s millionaire father. Vic is confident the plan will succeed but Danny has misgivings and Alice refuses to give in without a fight. Directed by J Blakeson.
