Summer Art Days

AROUND THE WORLD IN 3 DAYS
This lively set of workshops is ideal for anyone who likes to draw, construct and create and get messy in the process! You will work as part of a large team to create a HUGE imaginary landscape on our vast balcony wall space, using paint, glue and all sorts of crazy junk to form all the world's major landmarks from the pyramids to the London eye. We promise to deliver 3 days of creative fun so do come and join in!
Suitable for young people ages 10 yrs+

Rock and Pop Summer School
Mon 28 Jul - Fri 1 Aug, 10am - 4pm
The opportunity for music enthusiasts to make plenty of noise! Participants are encouraged to bring their own instruments, drum kits and other equipment will be provided. Throughout the week, the group will form bands and work towards an end of week concert that will allow them to rock out in front of friends and family!
Suitable for young people ages 12 - 16yrs
Cost: £90 per participant
End of week band night; £2. 7pm start, Studio Theatre.
Youth Theatre (7-10yrs) Summer School
Mon 4 - Fri 8 Aug, 10am - 4pm
A week of workshops for 7 - 10 year olds who enjoy using their imaginations, devising, performing and having fun! Participants will spend the week developing characters and scenes to perform as part of a double bill in the Main House at the end of the week!
Suitable for young people ages 7-10 yrs
Cost: £80 per participant
End of week performance, £2, starts at 7pm.
Junior Dance Summer School
Mon 4 - Fri 8 Aug, 10am - 4pm
A week of dance classes for 7 - 10 year olds who enjoy dancing, making shapes and telling stories with their bodies. Participants will spend the week developing short dances to perform as part of a double bill in the Main House at the end of the week!

Youth Theatre (11yrs+) Summer School
Mon 11 - Fri 15 Aug, 10am - 4pm
A week of theatre workshops for young people 11 yrs+. Participants will spend the week developing skills and techniques in voice, movement and interpretation of text. Participants will learn how to develop character and scene build drawing from a variety of comic scripts. There will be a performance as part of a triple bill in the Main House at the end of the week!

Senior Dance Summer School
Mon 11 - Fri 15 Aug, 10am - 4pm
A week of dance classes for young people 11yrs+. Participants will spend the week making dance in a variety of styles developing skills in technique, improvisation and performance to perform as part of a triple bill in the Main House at the end of the week!

Boys Dance Summer School
Mon 11 - Fri 15 Aug, 10am - 4pm
A week of dance workshops for boys aged 11yrs+. Participants will gain skills in a variety of dance forms including Break Dancing and Physical Theatre. There will be a performance where participants can show off their new power moves as part of a triple bill in the Main House at the end of the week!

Musical Theatre Summer School
Mon 18 - Fri 22 Aug, 10am - 4pm
A week of workshops in musical theatre acting, singing and dancing. Participants will learn about the history of musical theatre and the different styles that each decade has born. Each day participants will sing, dance and act developing musical theatre performance pieces for an end of week Cabaret in the Main House!
