Castle Youth Theatre prepare to perform at The National!
The Castle Youth Theatre are very proud to annouce that they are one of ten groups selected to perform at The National as part of The National Theatre's New Connections programme. Earlier this year they performed their chosen play, The Book of Everything by Peter Tabern at The Castle and at The Royal Theatre in Northampton. Rehearsals are underway again as the young company prepare to perform in The Olivier Theatre in July.
Castle Youth Theatre (CYT)
If you are aged between 7 and 19 and enjoy acting, devising and performing then CYT is for you!
What do we do?
CYT meet weekly to learn and develop skills in theatre making and performing through a range of theatre games and exercises. Twice a year members will work towards a production either in the Studio or the Main House and there are also opportunities to produce work for regional and national festivals.
Current groups are full and working towards their Summer productions. If you are interested in joining in September please contact sarah@thecastle.org.uk
When do we meet?
Juniors (7 - 10yrs) Tue or Fri 5.00pm - 6.30pm
Juniors (11 - 13yrs) Tue or Fri 6.30pm - 8.00pm
Seniors (14 - 19yrs) Wed or Thu 6.00pm - 8.00pm
