IMPORTANT INFORMATION - BOOKING SPACE FOR PERFORMING AT THE CASTLE

What We Require From You

If you wish to apply to perform at The Castle we require a brief A4-page application detailing:
• The name of your organisation
• The type of event you wish to stage
• Title and production details
• In which space you wish to perform – Main House or Studio Theatre
• Your proposed dates for the project
• Any secondary dates that you can consider if we cannot accommodate your first choice
The application does not need to be over-detailed but enough to give us a flavour of what you wish to produce.

The Deadlines for Applications

For productions taking place prior to April 2011 – The application periods have passed and all dates allocated. Please enquire as to whether we have any remaining capacity for additional productions.

For productions taking place in May - August 2011 - Submissions should be received by The Castle before the end of March 2010 with decisions made in April.
For productions taking place in September - December 2011 - Submissions should be received by The Castle before the end of July 2010 with decisions made in August.
For productions taking place in January – April 2012 - Submissions should be received by The Castle before the end of November 2010 with decisions made in December.

Please note that due to the large number of applications that are made to perform at The Castle, submission of an application before the deadline does not in itself confirm acceptance by The Castle of the booking.
