IMPORTANT INFORMATION - BOOKING SPACE FOR PERFORMING AT THE CASTLE

In order to allow The Castle to programme a season as an entire entity, rather than the month by month policy that exists at the moment, which leads to a tendency towards a piecemeal approach, there are a few changes to the current booking system for performance spaces at The Castle. From 14th January 2008 the 13 month policy that we currently employ will be changed to a Seasonal Application instead. Please see below for further details.

What We Require From You

If you wish to apply to perform here at The Castle all we require is a brief A4 page application detailing;

  • Dates for your proposed project
  • Type of project you wish to host here
  • Where you would like to host the event
  • Any secondary dates that you can consider if we cannot accommodate your first choice
  • The title of the project & those involved

It does not need to be over detailed but enough to give us a flavour of what you wish to do.

The Deadlines for Applications

From 14th January 2008 the following Seasonal rule below will now apply;

For events taking place January - April 2009 ~ Applications for Bookings open Jan 14th 2008 and close February 29th 2008 with application results in March.

For events taking place May - August 2009 ~  Appllications for Bookings open May 1st 2008 and close May 31st 2008 with application results in July 2008.

For events taking place September - December 2009 ~ Applications for Bookings open September 1st 2008 and close September 30th 2008 with application results in November 2008.

For events taking place January - April 2010 ~ Applications for Bookings open January 1st 2009 and close January 31st 2009 with application results in March 2009.

For events taking place May - August 2010 ~ Applications for Bookings open May 1st 2009 and close May 31st 2009 with application results in July 2009.

For events taking place September - December 2010 ~ Applications for Bookings open September 1st 2009 and close September 30th 2009 with application results in November 2009.
