The Castle is not just a theatre, but also an arts centre, and as such we are proud to display exhibits from a variety of artists of different ages and genres.

The Gallery and Exhibition Wall are both open to the public and users of The Castle 6 days a week, so please feel free to come and take a look at the spaces and artwork for free.

  • Hours of opening: 10.00 a.m. until 8.00 p.m.
  • If there are no shows, then the exhibitions will close at 6.00 p.m.

We are a small group of local painters who now share a growing passion. Join us on our journey of discovery into a fascinating world of Chinese Brush Painting in this year of the Beijing Olympics. Each stroke of brush and ink on paper embodies specific energies and intentions. The various styles and topics of this art form which range from the highly complicated to extreme minimalism, encapsulates many Eastern beliefs about life itself.

Work will be available for sale throughout the exhibition.

This competition creates a quality mixed exhibiton of work by professional and amateur artists. Open to all artists living in, or with a connection to Northamptonshire, working in any visual art medium with cash prizes up to £700. Call Paula Armstrong on 01933 231 824 for further information.
